Bezafibrate
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Clarithromycin
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management:If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis .
Digoxin
Adverse Effect: increased plasma concentrations of digoxin Clinical Management: Carefully monitor digoxin levels and cardiac effects. Adjustment of digoxin dose may be required.
Erythromycin
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Fluconazole

Fluoxetine
Decreased hepatic metabolism of simvastatin and atorvastatin
Gemfibrozil
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Indinavir
Adverse Effect: Myopathy including Rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: Monitor for the adverse effects and HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors like Atorvastatin/Cerivastatin should be used with caution.
Itraconazole
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Ketoconazole
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Nicotinic Acid
Adverse Effect: an increased risk of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis Clinical Management: If concurrent therapy is required, monitor the patient for signs and symptoms of myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.
Phenytoin
Adverse Effect: loss of atorvastatin efficacy Clinical Management: Patients receiving phenytoin and atorvastatin should be monitored for atorvastatin efficacy, as measured by total cholesterol and triglycerides.
Warfarin
